Hey everyone! My name is Claire Leiter, and I am a second-year student studying Advertising through the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. I have a passion for communication, specifically through social media and graphic design. I fell in love with graphic design in middle school and have continued to grow my passion ever since. 

 

Last year, I served as the social media manager for my local church's Instagram account. Throughout this time, I significantly improved my graphic design skills by making almost 100 graphics using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. This role was pivotal in further developing my enthusiasm for content creation and social media management. 

 

During my time at UGA, I have had the privilege of participating in Talking Dog Agency, a student-led advertising agency. In this program, I serve as the Junior Digital Media Specialist for Moreno Collective, a custom luxury menswear and womenswear store. In this role, I have significantly expanded my skill set in content creation and social media analytics. I have gained valuable real-world skills that I will apply in my future professional career. While I am unsure of the specific path I want to take, I am excited to see what the future holds for me in the digital communications industry.
